Give your GNSS base a defined mounting position on a prepared post. BASEPOINT combines a secured threaded-fitting assembly, a 5/8″-11 receiver connection, and individual serial identification in one reusable mount.

01 / THE DETAILS THAT MATTER
The front carries the product. The reverse identifies your mount. From setup to relocation, BASEPOINT keeps the hardware recognizable and the individual unit traceable.
Approximately eight inches of offset from the post to the GNSS mounting point, with a 5/8″-11 connection on a secured threaded-fitting assembly. Check receiver thread engagement, body clearance and connector access for your equipment before ordering.
Individual serial identification on the reverse keeps each mount identifiable. Record the serial with your order and job assignment; the QR code links back to ForgedOpsHQ.com.

03 / INSTALLATION & SETUP
A stable base begins with a sound post, a secure footing and a clear view of the sky. Install the mount around the needs of your site and your GNSS equipment.
Read the complete installation guide ↗Select stable ground outside traffic and active work areas. Maintain a clear sky view and confirm underground utilities before digging.
Use an 8-ft or longer ground-contact treated 4×4. Secure the footing with concrete, plumb two adjacent faces, brace and follow the concrete manufacturer’s curing instructions.
Use the four supplied mounting screws in a sound wooden post, securing every flange hole. Keep the arm level and the receiver stud vertical. Position the receiver and connectors clear of the post.
Set the base position and antenna height using your equipment procedures. Verify known control before work begins and record the mount’s serial number.
The brochure’s 18–24 in. embedment is a starting range, not a universal footing specification. Soil, wind and local conditions may require a deeper or larger footing.
04 / FIELD CARE & REUSE
Remove the receiver and cables, unfasten the flange, and inspect the mount before transfer. At the next prepared post, re-establish the base position, antenna height and control checks.
Check post stability, receiver seating, fasteners and secured connections. Verify known control.
Check both post faces with a level, inspect the footing for movement or rotation, and record the inspection.
Recheck after heavy rain, high winds or impact. Stop using a shifted setup until corrected and re-established.
